Laura Bush was born in Texas and grew up as an only child, she has formed strong links, especially with his father. Little is known that in the years to extend beyond his career as a teacher and librarian in place on the role as First Lady of Texas State and the United States of America.
"Speaking from the heart "is a detailed report on the life of Mrs. Bush, which began in November 1946. The story on page 432 is divided into eight chapters, each one focusing on a particular season.
The author describes the culture and family atmosphere that was the basis for their growing years in Midland. It describes friendship that began in this period of his life and continue to the present. It is also very open about the car accident he experienced as a young driver and the pain he suffered when he learned that a friend in the other car was killed.
Mrs. Bush was trained as a teacher and describes her experiences lived in the positions they held working in schools where students from socio-economic areas participated. His love of books led in other studies to become a librarian.
When friends introduced him to George Bush, said both were "ready" to find a mate and raise a family. They married three months after their meeting. As newlyweds enjoyed a common ground they share, as they were raised in Midland, even if they knew each other during growth.
Mrs. Bush went on to describe the commitment that she and George did to his father in law of political campaigns and participation one big family. It also describes her struggles with infertility and the thrill of finally giving birth to twins.
George search for political office by the author in the position of being the first First Lady when he became governor of Texas, then as First Lady when he was eight years as president United States.
The book is a very detailed account of the experience of Mrs. Bush. It describes his travels to other countries, specific interests and areas where it has worked to improve the lives of others.
The only complaint I have of this book is that sometimes reads like a collection of inconsistent information. Just when I thought I was a personal view of author as a person who moves into a tirade about the history or a foreign country to interrupt the chronological format, with memories of earlier days. In fact, I think the book would have been much better if the two things that had happened. The first is that you have written while on his "people" voice in the content of most first and second was withdrawn.
There are times when I felt I had a diary, then had to block someone else with data unnecessary.
The data and the pieces are fascinating ideas and if you're new to me. For example, I had no idea that the First Lady was responsible for payment of his clothing and demanded a clean or that the President is responsible each month for meals that he and his family were treated.
Mrs. Bush has visited 75 countries and host social events 1500 in the White House. She has also worked on the renovation and historic sites and contributed to the creation of projects human rights in the world. In fact, he went to New Orleans 23 times after the devastation of Katrina. The work was extensive and probably could have been said by several books rather than volume.
I just wish I could have finished the book I find really a very close relationship with Laura Bush, the person! In contrast, I ended up thinking "that did a lot of things!
