Garage part price quote help! Am I being overcharged?
I have a Wayne Dalton garage door that is separated into 2 individual doors (as in each door fits one car) One of the garage doors got hit and the bottom panel and became a tad crooked.
The repair man told me it would be $475 to fix this bottom panel since he has to order the part. Is this too much? How much do bottom panels go for? Is there an alternative I could take? Any help would be much appreciated – Thanks!
I suggest contacting the manufacturer to price the panel your self. The bottom panel is the easiest panel to replace so yes I think it is excessive in price. Any handyman could replace this panel even if he/she has never done so in the past.
